| Mark A. Smith President, Chief Executive Officer, and Director Mark A. Smith serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Molycorp, Inc., and is a member of the Board of Directors and a shareholder. He has been involved in the operation and development of the Mountain Pass, California Rare Earth Facility for more than 24 years, and has more than 29 years of experience in the mining industry. Mr. Smith is one of the rare earth industry's leading global spokesmen, and is a frequent speaker and lecturer at conferences around the world, on national and international news media programs, and before U.S. government agencies and the U.S. Congress. Prior to leading Molycorp, Mr. Smith was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Chevron Mining Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chevron Corporation. Appointed to that position in April 2006, Mr. Smith oversaw all operations of Chevron Mining's five mines, including the Mountain Pass Rare Earth Facility. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Smith was a Vice President for Unocal Corporation, where he was responsible for managing the real estate, remediation, mining, and carbon divisions. Mr. Smith worked for Unocal for over 22 years. In addition to serving as a Director for Molycorp, Mr. Smith serves on the Boards of Directors for Avanti Mining, Inc. and Talison Lithium, Ltd. He also serves on the Boards of the National Mining Association, the Northwest Mining Association, the Western Business Roundtable, and the Rare Earth Industry and Technology Association. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural engineering from Colorado State University in 1981 and his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Western State University, College of Law, in 1990. He is a registered professional engineer and an active member of the State Bar of California and Colorado. Mr. Smith and his wife live in Denver, Colorado. |

| James S. Allen Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer Jim Allen is the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Molycorp and serves as a member of the Company’s Office of the CEO. Prior to Molycorp, Mr. Allen was an Audit Partner with KPMG LLP. Mr. Allen has extensive experience with accounting, financial reporting, capital raising transactions and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Allen received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration - Accounting from Colorado State University in 1989. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Allen, his wife and two daughters live in Lakewood, Colorado. |

| John L. Burba Ph.D. Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer Dr. Burba is Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Molycorp. He received his Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Baylor University in 1979 and has held numerous technology related positions with Dow Chemical Co., FMC, and Molycorp, where he managed development teams that designed new operating plants and redesigned existing operating facilities. During his career, Dr. Burba has been directly involved in all phases of development and scale-up, from invention, laboratory development, product design, process design, scale up, and commercialization. Many of Dr. Burba’s 40+ U.S. patents are in commercial use today. |

| John F. Ashburn, Jr. Executive Vice President & General Counsel John F. Ashburn, Jr. is Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Molycorp. Prior to Molycorp, Mr. Ashburn was Senior Counsel of Chevron Mining, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chevron Corporation. Prior to Chevron, Mr. Ashburn was Senior Counsel of Unocal Corporation. Mr. Ashburn has worked with Molycorp since the middle 1990s, during its ownership by both Unocal and Chevron. Mr. Ashburn has nearly 20 years of combined service with Unocal, Chevron and Molycorp. Mr. Ashburn received his Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Northern Illinois University in 1976 and his Juris Doctor from Northern Illinois University School of Law in 1980. He is an active member of the State Bar of Illinois and Colorado. Mr. Ashburn and his wife live in Denver, Colorado. |

| Doug Jackson Senior Vice President of Business Development Doug Jackson is Senior Vice President of Business Development. From 2002 to 2010, he was a private investor and, in 2010, he founded and is the principle of Optimal Solutions SV LLC, a management consulting company. From 1988 to 2002, he was with Dyno Nobel, Inc. (Dyno), the operating subsidiary of Dyno Nobel ASA, a global commercial explosive supplier. While with Dyno, Mr. Jackson held a variety of positions, including serving as President and Chief Executive Officer, where he had the responsibility for operations in North America and South America, Dyno’s primary market, while establishing new operations in the high growth markets of Latin America. Mr. Jackson started his career at Unocal Corporation, where his roles included Engineer-Chemical Sales/Service and District Sales Manager — Industrial Chemical Marketing. Mr. Jackson received his Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from Washington State University in 1983 and his MBA from California State University in 1988. |

| John Bassett Senior Vice President of Operations Mr. John K. Bassett is Vice President of Operations. From 2005 to 2011, he was President of Seadrift Coke L.P., or Seadrift, a manufacturer of petroleum needle coke. As President of Seadrift, Mr. Bassett had profit and loss responsibility, including sales and safety performance. Mr. Bassett started his career in petroleum refining and was refinery general manager of two refineries. He received his degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois in 1972. |

| Ksenia Adams Corporate Controller Ksenia Adams is the Corporate Controller of Molycorp. Mrs. Adams is based in the Greenwood Village, Colorado office. Mrs. Adams has an extensive accounting background and previously held the position of Senior Audit Manager with KPMG. Mrs. Adams received her Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Colorado State University. She is a certified public accountant and a member of the American Society of Certified Public accountant. |

| Kevin Johnson Deputy General Counsel Mr. Johnson is Molycorp’s Deputy General Counsel. Mr. Johnson served as outside counsel to Molycorp since July 2010, where he was primarily responsible for the development and implementation of the legal strategy for Project Phoenix. Mr. Johnson previously represented clients in international and domestic business transactions, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, financial transactions and corporate law. Having lived and worked in Spain and Switzerland for five years, Mr. Johnson has substantial transactional experience within the European Union and its Member States. In addition, Mr. Johnson has experienced representing clients in Eastern Europe, Latin America, and the Pacific Rim. Mr. Johnson has been recognized as a leader in The Legal 500 2010 edition for mergers and acquisitions, and is a member of Who's Who Worldwide. |

Andrea G. Leider Senior Counsel and Corporate Secretary
Andrea Leider is Senior Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Molycorp, Inc. Prior to joining Molycorp, Ms. Leider practiced corporate and securities law at Ballard Spahr LLP and Kutak Rock LLP in Colorado. She also worked for several years as a corporate associate at Richards, Layton & Finger, P.A. in Delaware. Ms. Leider graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Duke University in 1999 and received a Juris Doctor degree from Northwestern University School of Law in 2002. She is a member of the Colorado and Delaware State Bars. |

 | Brock O'Kelley Molycorp Technology Fellow
Brock O’Kelley has been with Molycorp for over 25 years, starting in 1985 at the Louviers, Colorado separations facility as a Process Engineer. In 1990, he was transferred to the Mountain Pass, California mine as Superintendent of the Rare Earth Separations plant. Over the years, he has held a variety of positions at Mountain Pass including Operations Manager, Technology Manager and Director of Technology. Most recently, Mr. O'Kelley became Molycorp’s first Technology Fellow, where he is responsible for development of processes and process improvements being utilized in Molycorp’s Project Phoenix, a $780M rebuild of the Mountain Pass production facilities.
Brock graduated from the Colorado School of Mines in 1974 with a B.S. in Mineral Processing and Extractive Metallurgy. He has experience in the lead belt of Missouri, iron and steel in East Chicago, Indiana, oil shale in Colorado but has found his calling with the rare earths located at Mountain Pass, California.

Carl Hassler Vice President of Product Development
Carl Hassler serves as Molycorp's Vice President of Product Development. He brings to Molycorp over twenty years of experience in product development, engineering and manufacturing of process systems. In particular, he has worked extensively in the area of biological sewage treatment systems and complex advanced water treatment systems involving membranes and vacuum systems. During his career he also was involved in the coatings program for the Boeing 757, helping in the development, testing, and application of an innovative two-part polyurethane system. Mr. Hassler prepared for his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at Highline College. |

Jim Sims Vice President Corporate Communications Jim brings to Molycorp more than 28 years of experience to senior government and private sector posts in the natural resource, energy, technology, and mining sectors. An 11-year veteran of senior staff positions in the U.S. Senate, including Senate Chief of Staff, he also served as Director of Communications in the White House for President George W. Bush’s National Energy Policy Development Group. He co-founded and helped to lead the Geothermal Energy Association in the 90s, and is the former CEO of the Western Business Roundtable. A former news reporter with the Des Moines Register, Jim is an honors graduate of Georgetown University. He lives in Golden, CO with his wife, Holly, his three very active elementary school-aged children. | |

Rocky Smith Managing Director, Mountain Pass Rare Earth FacilityRocky Smith is the General Manager at our Mountain Pass Mine, California facility. Mr. Smith brings to Molycorp over 20 years of mining and chemical operations experience, including over 12 years with FMC and, more recently, eight years as General Manager of mineral Operations for Barretts Minerals. Mr. Smith holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. |

Randall Ice Managing Director, Molycorp TollesonRandall Ice is the Managing Director of Molycorp Tolleson, a subsidiary based in Tolleson, Arizona. He spent 17 years with St. Joe Minerals, managing their lead smelting operations in Herculaneum, Missouri and directing process development efforts at their Research and Development facility in Monaca, Pennsylvania. For the last, 22 years, Mr. Ice has been at the Tolleson production facility, initially managing Rhodia's rare earth metals and alloys business in the US and then serving as President of Santoku America when Rhodia sold the business to Santoku Corporation. Randall received his Bachelor's of Science degree in Metallurgical Engineering from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology in 1971. Randall and his wife Dianne live in Glendale, Arizona, and have eight children and twelve grandchildren. |

 | Terrance J. Gleason Director, Human ResourcesTerry Gleason directs all human resources and labor relations activities for Molycorp and is located in the Greenwood Village office. During his extensive career in HR, Terry has held senior management positions with firms such as Cyprus Amax Minerals Company, American Medical Response and Dyno Nobel. He has helped build these organizations and the human resources programs to support growth. In his most recent assignment, he managed HR activities on a global basis for the commercial explosives company, Dyno Nobel. Terry has a Bachelor of Science degree in natural science from St. Johns University and an MS from the University of North Dakota. He completed his career in the U.S. Army Reserve as a Lieutenant Colonel. |

| Yuan Gao, Ph.D. Director, Marketing and SalesYuan Gao had a distinguished career at FMC Corporation, Lithium Division before joining Molycorp. He is a world renowned expert and inventor in the lithium-ion battery space, and many of his inventions are used widely in lithium-ion batteries today. Dr. Gao previously held positions of research scientist, group leader, technology manager, business manager and marketing director. As a scientist, Dr. Gao made many breakthrough discoveries; as a technology manager, he built and led high performance teams; and as a business leader, his creativity, drive for success, vision and leadership resulted in significantly improved profitability and growth at his business unit. Dr. Gao received his Bachelor's of Science in Physics from University of Science and Technology of China, and his Ph.D. in Physics from University of British Columbia. |

Sam Maddox Director of Information and Business Systems ManagerSam Maddox serves as Director of Information Technology for Molycorp. He has over 20 years of experience in information technology and enterprise information management, and formerly was Director of Business Solutions and Enterprise Information Management at MillerCoors. Prior to that, Mr. Maddox worked at MolsonCoors, where he played a key role in the integration of the two companies’ information technology systems when they merged in 2008. He Sam also has served as a Denver-based consultant with PriceWaterhouseCoopers. He holds a Master’s of Business Administration in Information Systems and Finance from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and he holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. |

Scott Honan Director, Health, Environment, Safety, and SustainabilityScott Honan is the Director of Health, Environment, Safety and Sustainability for Molycorp, Inc. Mr. Honan's prior experience includes 10 years in the HES group at the Mountain Pass Mine, where he most recently held the position of HES Manager. Prior to his experience with Molycorp, Mr. Honan held a series of environmental and metallurgical positions with Newmont Mining Corporation in the USA and Canada. Mr. Honan received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mining Engineering - Mineral Processing from Queen’s University in 1993 and his Master of Science degree in Mining Engineering – Environmental Management from Queen’s University in 1998. Neal S. Shah Manager of Business DevelopmentNeal Shah joined Molycorp in April after a distinguished career at Intel as a Business Planning manager as well as a Finance manager. During his tenure in the Wireless business groups, Mr. Shah helped drive Intel’s wireless equity investments with telecom companies around the globe. He also helped develop the strategic decision making to reestablish Intel’s position in the Wireless landscape. Prior to his work at Intel, Mr. Shah was a Software Pricing Manager at IBM and a Liaison engineer at the Boeing Company. Neal received his Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Colorado, and his MBA from the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University. |
