MQ2 magnets are ideal for applications that require high performance at elevated temperatures. Unlike sintered neo magnets, MQ2 rare earth magnets provide excellent magnetic properties at elevated temperatures without costly heavy rare earths like Terbium and Dysprosium. With an energy product of 14 – 16 MGOe and stability up to 175°C, Dysprosium-free MQ2 is an effective low-cost solution for applications like electric vehicle traction motors, engine cooling fans and air conditioning compressors. With our mine located at Mountain Pass, we own a stable supply of raw materials and have cost visibility for our magnetic materials. We furthermore have the ability to deploy our fully integrated supply chain, either inside or outside of China to meet customer needs.
