Molycorp’s commitment to safety has led to extraordinary safety records at several of its facilities.
For example, as of January 1, 2013, the Molycorp Mountain Pass facility had achieved 2,730 days — nearly seven and half years — without a lost time incident.
This exceptional record of safety has extended to Project Phoenix as well. As of January 2013, the more than 1,100 construction workers on-site at Mountain Pass have logged more than 4.8 million hours on the Project without a loss time incident.
Finally, our Molycorp Metals and Alloys facility in Tolleson, Arizona, reached a remarkable milestone in early 2012: it has now gone more than 15 years without a lost time incident.
