product can be supplied as a wet-cake, a damp filter cake. If
so, the measured loss on ignition reported for shipped material
incudes a component due to surface and adsorbed water as well
as one due to the decomposition of the carbonate portion.The
specification analysis above refers to material dried of surface
and adsorbed water, i.e. the LoI defined above is for dry product,
and refers solely to decomposition of the carbonate portion.Several
other mixed-lanthanide salts, containing, as cation, predominantly
Lanthanum, are standard products, including:
carbonate, nitrate, and chloride
